| I think you did well with this. I like the rim light to separate the background. I think the model is posed well for a headshot. There are a couple of things to critique about this too though. I do think the main light is just a touch too direct. Judging from the shadow on the eyeglass frames, I think a diffuser is needed. Yet you did manage to eliminate any glare which is great. Also the choice of black background kind of conflicts with the bright and cheery model. |

She is lovely!
But... it seems like a "church portrait" (I've nothing against them, but... )
I'd have liked this more if there were more dramatic lighting on her...
Maybe a bit less light on half of her face? |
