Funnily enough, I think that this is an amusing image because it suggests to me that folk look at a woman's breasts rather than her face. From a guy's perspective it might very well be the case, so I laugh with it.
Probably not your intent, but fitting for a portrait. |

I agree the the comment below and think in a different challenge it could well have ribboned. I really like it and was one of your 8s. |

Very artful stuff, but not your typical classic portrait, so I fear this is why it was not scored highly by most in voting. I think most folks (not all and clearly not those who left very positive comments on your photo) feel that portraiture is about the face and eyes, and the shot you produced with the very pretty model lit from the back and side does not provide much of either the face or the eyes. |

This is simply terrific! It's always a pleasure to look at photographs that explore the edges of reason, because they are so loaded with possibilities. Here I see a Confessional where the sinner is provided with adequate sinning opportunity, in order to make the visit a success for everyone involved. A very sensible approach to both sin and salvation ('As I intend to prosper and repent, so thrive I in my dangerous affairs'), as well as, of course, to secrets. It's in my top three picks and certainly weird enough to wear an Order of the Thumb. Gratis tibi ago.

I get the idea, but I think she should have been a bit more visible |

I'm not sure if the ink is permanent or temporary, but the unique light brought it out and added an edgy feel to the image. This composition makes a strong statement about the subject. |

nice, love the lack of detail in this that makes the detail that we see so dramatic with the tattoos and the key light on the breasts, excellent concept and idea. |
