 spent the afternoon at the local bike race trying out my panning skills (lack thereof really) out of about 150shots this was pretty much the only one that came close to what I was trying to acheive. I like the way I have captured the single racer yet his wheels still show motion, however I was after more blur/movement in the remaining racers.

Perfect focus on one racer. You cought the speed very well.

I like the focal point on the one racer, but the riders in the background are motion blurry...I'm still new to this, but would a faster shutter speed freeze them better, while the aperture stays close to where it was leaving them out of focus?
