| Started looking at all the photos. Had to keep myself from yawning. This was the first one where I woke up. Excellent photo 8 from me. I sorry that I'm so harsh, but I'm starting to find my way in the voting process and I keep asking myself this question...would I want to hang it on my wall and look at it for years to come?? ... does it hold my interest to make me want to look at it and imagine myself being there? ... This may be a screwed way to look at photos, but I'm learning. |

Just a beautiful photograph. Simple but complex; it can stand up to any amount of analysis and appreciation. This is by any standard a superb picture. 9 and the sinister Order of the Thumb for you. And a big thank you.

| I feel like the subject (the tree) is lost in the photo...I think it would have been better to crop at the top umbrella at least. The lights and the background above the steps are distracting. |
