Still think this was a winner, cyclist or not.
It's not everyday you can see some relics of the past where legends were made and told. |

Not too emotive, perhaps, but funny. Very good definition and effective hue. |

I like your composition, having a foreground element in focus along with the beautiful columns in the back. The person on the bike adds extra interest for me. The colors are magnificent! I sometimes have a hard time pinning down my emotions (think I have too many :), but I definitely feel uplifted/optimistic/uplifted by your photo. Thanks! |

Amman? Excellent shot. Seems like folks are addicted to putting humans in their architecture images, though. |

The bicyclist detracts greatly from the feeling of grand history and pomp. Everything else is damn spot-on. |

The processing gives it such a mysterious and ancient feel... the bicyclist brings it back to the present.. Nice! |

They allow bikes in the Forum??? Probably not the Forum, but it's fabulous. Great burnt tones. |

Golly! This is a tough one.
"Take a picture of a structure in a way that emphasizes emotional content rather than form. Subject should be identifiable as a structure, and although human elements can appear in the image, it should be predominantly about the building"
Oddly enough, the most brilliant part for me, the biker and bike are what makes this image lesser for the challenge topic for me.
For the topic, I think this image would have scored much better without the part your worked the hardest for.
*sigh*
But, I'm only commenting, not voting. So... that's good, huh? *smile* |
