| Not sure quite what your punny title means... why a play on words of defeat? Where is defeat? Without your title, I would not have been aware that this photo depicts feet, so this drawing could have been on any body part, and I think that makes this too abstract for me for a nude challenge. For me, the point of a nude study is to explore the nude form, and I'm not sure this photo does that. The skin used here is very much just a background for the Japanese looking artwork which doesn't captivate me I'm afraid. The composition doesn't really draw me in, and seems a bit haphazard. |

For a naked challenge - this really does not show me naked of any kind. For me the hardest part is meeting the criteria and this fails.
That aside, i like your b&w tones. |
