 Used elastic bands to section my face (these do start to sting after a while and leave embarrassing marks for an hour afterwards!); exposure tweaks in LR3, single exposure monochrome HDR via HDR Efex Pro (custom setting), add colour via LR3 adjustment brush. Voila, a slightly strange image !
