The primary road in this photo is a dead-end road to our neighborhood up the hill and to the left. It took a while to catch vehicles coming and going at the same time. I took the photo from our bedroom deck, which provides a great view of a wide variety of events... clouds & storms, sunrises & sunsets, fireworks and even the occasional traffic accident. The glow on the horizon is from the business district of Arnold, MO, about 5 miles or so away.

I set my Canon for manual mode, set to bulb and f8.0. Using a cable release, this image came out at 51 seconds.

This is my first time submitting to DPChallenge, and working with a deadline date presented its own challenge! Thank you for the opportunity to share... I look forward to participating in future challenges and upgrading to full membership soon.

I think this is much better than the score indicates. I really like the "every day" feel to it, with the suburban houses, the lights in the distance, and the glimpses of stars in the sky.

Too much darkness on my screen.

Lovely light trails here, beautiful sky too. The centered horizon works well too since it seems to balance out the light in the image.
