 Lit her with a 27" Elinchrom Beauty Dish centered and pointing down at about 45 degrees at her. I decided to shoot her with my macro lens in order to get the entire face in the frame without cropping anything as much as possible and to get tremendous amount of detail in the skin. The result stunned me when I saw all the details I was able to capture in her skin. The beauty dish produces a light that sculpts the face in such a way that no other softbox is capable of doing. It's almost like an instantaneous dodge and burn in the camera.

Very polished looking portrait -- I like the naturalness of the skin texture and the deep red of the lipstick is the perfect shade. I don't usually mind borders of this sort and sometimes even like them, but I'm not crazy about its use here, especially on the top. Still a very good score from me.

Very stunning photo. Love the eyes, lips and hair. The only thing that was a bit distracting (only after looking at the photo for a prolonged time) were the tiny hairs on the nose.

The only thing I would've liked more in this image is if she were applying a traditional lipstick, rather than a lipgloss type brush - would've been more elegant, IMO. Great shot though
