This is sage advice. the colors are, nice, but.the crop would help enhance the feel of movement in the shot. |

PennyClick, no, I didn't try denoise....I am trying some of the ideas here. Will give that a go. Thanks for the comments! Much appreciated. |

I can image cropping this to leave just the left half or maybe left two thirds (somewhere in that range in any case) so that the light on the trunks and the sweeping feel of the branches all blowing in one direction becomes the dominant theme/feel of the image. I really like both those aspects. Fun trying out a new lens isn't it. I recently got the 24-105 for my Canon 7D and I'm still "trying it out".

The golden red and bronze colors are very appealing here. I would have tried to reframe your shot to get more sky and avoid that grey triangular shoulder area. The bluish grey color is in direct conflict with the other colors. Though it doesn't really wreck the shot, I still would've tried to simplify by getting rid of it. But hey, I'm not you... |

thanks for your comment shutterpuppy.....I added an adjustment layer with soft light and I think I overdid it a bit...at least that might explain? Still learning! |
