Dang, that's a good shot of that tree. It's way far off from your vantage point and your hand-held shot was sharp and spot on.
It could be on the moors of a distant land, but no, it's in the heart of San Francisco. |

Composition is spot on here, you're nailed the curve of the tree's balance with the slope of the hill and the walkers are in sweet spot. I might suggest trying this out in black and white, perhaps with a blue filter to get the white tree's silhouette to stand out even more. Perhaps also a low pass with a noise filter, the sky looks slightly noisy. All round though great image. |

What a spooky tree, would've made a great frame for the people walking the dog. I think much of the top of the frame is wasted space, though. |
