Too cluttered - and the fish looks sick.

Nice set up, background and foreground are however a bit too messy

It's an interesting image albeit a bit cluttered. Hope? Fish?

This is a really "busy" image - with not a lot to say for "Hope". And that which might indicate "hope" is conflicting: Maybe the fish is "Hoping" for a meal, but "Silica Gel; Do Not Eat"? And maybe a student somewhere is "Hoping" for a good test result, but I "Hope" you don't mean the fish is. :-) Yep, there is a Unicorn in the background, too. But, paper clips? A piece of pipe fitting? The edge of a paper towel? A drum stick? What IS all that stuff ... ? I HOPE you got it cleaned up since then. :-)

I think there is too much "stuff" in the photo. It distracts from the main subject.

nice idea but the photo is too busy for me.

Way too busy, even if it's intended to look as if the owner has too much other stuff going on in his/her life.

A bit busy is my opinion.

Remove bowl and food and place it in a cleaner backgroud with no clutter and you're disco.

Good idea, but IMO poorly executed. There is a lot in the photo that doesn't relate to your main idea (book, receipts, drumstick(?), spring, and other background elements). Focus on the fish is a little off, maybe due to glass which you might not be able to help. Composition could be a bit stronger (see threads on rule of thirds). Reflection of the light in the upper right of the bowl distracts. And a bit of work with levels would help, i think. Sorry to seem negative, but if you can go back and reshoot it keeping the above in mind, I think it will seem better to you.

Though the clutter gives the picture context, it's also pretty distracting.

too many random things in the picture

There is much too much 'trash' on this picture. it;s too crowdy and you loose the fish food in that mess.

Wonderful photograph. Would have been great to have had the fish looking more towards the food itself.

A less cluttered background/foreground would improve this...

Having raised bettas, I know this scene well....too bad the clutter around the bowl is a bit distracting. I did enjoy the shot!
