I really love this. It has this nice old photograph look. The grain looks amazing too. I'd love to live in that little house. Sold! :) |

Completely agree with this description. The house is smiling, calling me home. |

I feel like I am seeing a face in this. The two big eyes and the very tiny mouth. I really like the soft focus and grain for this scene. |

Love how you've given the little cottage personality. I'm in two minds about the grain. I like it in the front and on the cottage, not so fond of it over the bg. |

I am not put off by the grain. I think it helps the viewer to pull back and concentrate on the shape and personification of the shack, and its lopsided blinking eye windows. |

Yummo, like this one, maybe needs some variation in the type of grain in different areas, but most pleasing all the same. |

I like how the photographer has used the blur of the plastic optic to help reduce this shot to a basic shape and it's surrounding tones. The grain is great in my eyes. It adds texture and ambiance to a winter beach shot!

Robert, this is really lovely. Do you follow Steven Schaub (also at Figital Revolution)? His current batch of work has a similar feel to this, albeit using an almost candy-like color scheme. |

A little less grain perhaps, otherwise i like it, the post on the right is straight but the house is slightly askew, not sure if that was intentional. |

I do love the mood here, but I feel the grain is just overboard and dominates the image. |
