Sometimes opportunities just reveal themselves like magic. Ha! See what I did there? Comedic gold! In this case, I had to go into work on a Saturday. After working, I decided to walk around campus with my camera to get some shots (normally there is so much activity, that something like this would put me in the middle of a lot of foot traffic).

I was making my way past The Elevator to Hell when I realized I never took any photos of this structure. So I setup my tripod and took a nice long exposure (due to this hallway being eerily dark). At the time of taking this, I knew what I wanted to do in editing, make it look like it's in hell.

So I opened up Topaz Adjust 5, and started tweaking. I hit on a preset that had a color scheme similar to what I wanted. Then I just needed to adjust the exposure/details. I was looking for a slightly cartoony feel (but not too much), so I really bumped up the adaptive exposure and kept the details relatively low.

The end result is something I'm very proud of (if I remember, I can post the "before" photo). This is technically within the Advanced ruleset (and that's only because of the vignette), and knowing the level of export editing genius around here, I don't expect to place in the top 50%, but we'll see how it goes.

Post Processing;
* Decrease exposure (2 stops)
* Increase recovery, black point, and brightness
* Topaz Adjust 5
* Topaz DeNoise
* Crop
* White balance
* Increase black point
* Increase contrast and definition
* Decrease saturation with much higher vibrancy
* Increase red saturation
* Increase yellow saturation and tint towards red
* Very slight vignette
* Export as TIFF
* Resize
* Sharpen Edges
* Save as JPEG

This kind of remind me of a relative of mine, who changed his name to Beelzebub on the mobile of a very religious auntie, and then called her 3am :D
Well done, I had a good laugh.
