Good shot, but it needs to be much sharper. Some strong lighting might also help to bring out the dog's face. Also, The title (referring to brown eyes) doesn't really work with a black and white shot. Perhaps "I hope these dark eyes work"? |

Its a nice photo. Possibly the food could have been more in focus so it was more recognisable as well as maybe a contrasting colour? to balance the dark effects of the dog and to make it more recognisable from the rest of the white.
Its a funny photo and it got a laugh out of me thats for sure so congratulations :) |

Cute idea. I think that with the brown eyes being the main subject of the photo, per your title, it might have been good to have this one in color. Maybe even repositioning the shot so you could get a close up of those brown eyes looking at the treats. Just my opinion... |

Without the title, the tie in to the theme would not be evident.
There are a few things that would have improved it, I think. The blacks are very black and the whites are very white, and there's not much in between. If you have photo editing software, try adjusting levels and curves to soften the extreems. This is a basic editing challengs, so selective work with contrast which might have helped the table and drape aren't allowed, but you might try some selective adjustments to see if they would also help. I can't really tell where the light is coming from. It feels like there might have been a light from over your left sholder, and possibly one from the right, high up. They are a bit too bright for the fabric, and not quite bright enough for the dog. Possibly a darket fabric would have allowed the lights to work better to smooth out the image.
I'm sorry if this feels negative, but there are things you can do to make it better. If you can reshoot it with these things in mind, or even re-edit it, you may find you like the results better. |

lighting needs work, exposure needs to be longer. image is too undersaturated, low-res, and out of focus. the dog is cute though ;o) |
