This is another of photos taken at The Getty. This is overlooking a smoggy LA in the distance. I reversed the image, just playing around, and thought it suited the subject. Very little editing done otherwise.

Occasionally, doing something really off-the-wall pays off big; this is one such case. Very nice.

Great use of the inverse - always works well when it presents the image in a way that makes one question what they're looking at is the actual scene or not. Very dynamic image Kylie.

Very intense...the mountain or whatever adds an element of mystery; what is in the smog ?

Going through some of your photos. I love this one. It is such a sereal picture for such a sureal place. I love how you portrayed the city buildings in this shot. Overexposed ( it appears), washed out, nondescript kind of like the people who live in the belly of the city; Swallowed and forgotten.

doh! wrote an essay on this then hit the fav button and lost it all.

Great pic Kylie, could have been a scene from a 70's sci fi movie. My only thought is you could remove the blue from the top of the building?

Beautiful colors. I love the feel. I would try a few things though... stamp over or color over the mountain top in the left 1/3 area to make it go away. It's distracting a bit. Also, consider a crop where the wall comes to the exact corner of the photo in the bottom left, either the top or bottom of that wall.

great job!

Wonderful shot, I love the composition and colour contrasts.
Would be interesting to see a version without the vertical building on the left to compare.
