| Great choice of a subject to illustrate "hope!" On my monitor it looks a little red -- maybe some color adjustments in PS would help. I've also read that b&w works well to portray emotions, which would fit with your subject. I'm very new, so don't take my suggestions too seriously. ;-) Good luck. |

flat lighting isn't helping this image. Have a look at some of the better rated baby pictures when this challenge finishes, you will see that they have used the light to really get an atmosphere. This one lacks that, and is a simple 'snap'.
You will learn a lot from analysing the other baby photos. |
