I sear that I have seen something almost exactly like this (multiple times) in modern art exhibits. Put up a sufficiently pretentious "artist's statement" next to it, and we'll start the bidding in the mid 5 figures. Relocation to your living room might be a bit tricky . . .

I quite like it. Call it "Tears of a Clown". Sell it for five figures. Indulge in a fine automobile with the proceeds. :-) But seriously, I do like it.

what has been said is correct, the positioning of diagonal points of interest makes the shot, and makes it interesting, more so, than if you had only one or the other rectangular point of interest. All that being said, from a purely abstract compositional level, the areas of light and dark contrast work beautifully.

the second image to the right has a woman in a long dress dancing in it....literal interpretation of your art! LOL

Actually, even though I like it, there's no way I'd hang this in my living room - but I know people who would! Big canvas, worth a mint!

the repeating rectangles gives this such interest

This is lovely! I'd go to see it in an art exhibit!

Yes, you must certainly find the right words.

Actually that reminds me of a fun photo assignment I did once when on a photography holiday, we worked in pairs and had 10 minutes to make a couple of images (we were given a theme) and then we had to write a "pretentious" artists statement about them. It was such fun.

ah, yes. "Art Speak." Fun juxtaposition of shapes and textures here.

I agree, ready for modern art exhibit. Just need a story about the wall.

Well seen and shot. It could go in the pareidolia side challenge too. I agree that an artist's statement (plus representation) can make all the difference.
