The image quality might hurt you a bit though the dof is nice. I think this might have done well as b/w.

With more sharpness/less noise, I really would have liked this much better.

The heavy noise spoils this for me a bit, cracking little character though and good composition, I just personally think the image just needs a good denoise and sharpen.
