 The "Kotel" is also known as "The Western Wall" or "the Wailing Wall".

On Jewish holidays, thousands come to pray at here. They stream in from all directions, their eyes shining, fixed on the weathered stones, hoping, dreaming, wishing.

They press messages and prayers into the cracks that time has worn between the stones, hoping God will here their call.

I was visiting at "Mini Israel", and when I saw the mini "kotel" It strike me that it is a perfect shot for this challenge.

C'mon guys, haven't you heard of "the Kotel"?? The western wall in Jerusalem?
Man... and I thought my knowledge in world geography was poor... :(

Anyway, it's just a miniature model - but a good one!
Wonderful picture! great lighting, original idea!
Too bad so little knew what it was all about. I think it should've been in a much higher place.

Now this is a scene I haven't seen in miniature before! It took me a moment... good use of the harsh light to add realism!
