Ha, amusing to see the cultural reactions to this! In the UK the back of hand V symbol has a quite different meaning to victory, and especially to peace! The processing style really suited my perceived take on the meaning of the image - a very in your face, British, two-fingers up at the world! One of my highest scores of the challenge.
Edit - I don't think I have ever seen scores so evenly spread across the range!

One of the best in this challenge to my eye. Obvious letter wihtout just documenting an existing alphabetical symbol, colors work well together, color noise adds a lot of interest, and image provokes thinking about context. 10 |

the hand emerges victorious from the background riding on pure noise. |

While I see the connection to the challenge, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The quality of the image reminds me of the quality I would get off my flatbed scanner 10 years ago (not good). That's a whole heck of a lot of grain. I understand that grain can add mood to a photo, but it adds nothing here.
The most interesting part of the photo is the top of the hand below the knuckles. |

Was this meant to look so noisy? Not to fond of the concept. But that's just my opinion |
