Might work for a greeting card if the composition was worked on a little. Cup is on the wrong side of the book and the glasses are facing the wrong way. A little steam on the tea would have been a nice touch. And lose the edge of the table. |

I love the thought of this photo but the words are out of focus. |

Nice job. I like the composition: coffee cup, rose, glasses, bible, crochetted doily - it all fits together, both subject wise and in terms on color tones. The rose image is picked up in the cup and "Hope" is framed in the glasses. All very nice. Only criticisms? The rose looks kinda wilted (didn't last through all your hard work); it would have been nice to have some stronger glasses so that "hope" was magnified slightly more, and the coffee is cold! :-) Really nice photo though. |

Why is there a rose in this picture? |

Try to make your pictures less grainy, it takes away from the feel of it. |

This really does convey hope. I like the colors a lot. The focus seems a bit off and there seem to be a lot of compression artifacts in the picture. I also wonder if it might have been better without the rose. |

Seems a bit grainy to me. But otherwise fantabulous. I'll give it a 9. |

This is such a wonderful shot. Of course some people will not see hope in it, but I know my redeemer lives! :) |

I liked your choice of subject. There seems to be a little distortion. I've read that is sometimes caused by working on a jpg image. I've been told by more experienced photographers to save the image as a tif or PS file until I'm through editing it and then save it as a jpg to enter the contest. Just a thought.... :-) |

A little over compressed, you've lost clarity. |
