I like this crop better...but in color I think it would have scored better. I've never been a fan of selective desaturation though.

Some people said I should have posted a full colour version of my entry. Would it have done better.

Not entirely keen on the selective destat because I think the image would have worked completely in b/w. It's a pretty portrait.

Beautiful model....gorgeous outfit. She looks like she is deep in thought. Not crazy about the selective coloring.

Nice detail. Very nice contrast of her dark, dark hair and the light background.

Beautiful portrait. However, I rarely find selective desaturation enhances an image and in this case it spoils it a lot for me. I'm sure others are in the opposite camp

not sure why you chose to desaturate all but green, it may have worked better as a complete black and white or in color.

I so wish this had been straight b/w. What a gorgeous woman

Not sure the selective desat works for this one. The green is a bit muted for my taste. With that being said I still think you did a nice job with the focus and exposure.

If the eyes were open it would have given more meaning to your caption and would have made the photo much better that it already is..

What a beautiful woman - and gorgeous jewelry. I'd almost like the whole thing to be in color because of the jewels.

The selective color works against the image here - much better in a pure b&w imo. Still a good portrait...

Wonder why not completely B/W?
