too much real pond interference in the photo , great frog skin surface shot

It's almost always best to have the camera look your subject right in the eye. So a better angle (down low) would have given the frog a better appearance. It would also have solved the harsh light coming from the reflected sky.

Sorry but there are other better frog photos in this challenge
