 Was trying for something completely different. The flowers moving up out of the page like this:


Didn't like it at all, so cropped another pic with different lighting [no shadows] so that only the one flower remained. That explains the grain. B&W through playing around with the channels, quite a lot, but not so that any part of the image subjects disappeared completely. Then clarify once or twice, curves, sharpen once or twice, can't remember the sequence, save for web.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the flowers were put on a glass pane that slanted away from the page, and lighting was from the side, quite close, so that no shadows fell on the sheet music.

Because I read music left to right, I would like to see this upside down. Then I could feel a decrescendo move into a dramatic crescendo jumping off the musical staff. Good idea.
