This deserved a much higher placing. It's too bad that more people didn't understand that you desaturated to show a sadness in the state of hockey right now.. but I got it :)

nice shot .. the only thing it lacks is some life .. not sure if this is intentional but the colors are rather dull (i'm from toronto and I know that the blue on that jersey are much bluer) .. you could fix that up in photoshop and have yourself a top finish. 8

Great expression on his face. I'm not too sure about the lighting. IMO it could be brighter to contrast the background more.
