That's a big NO on the grain. LOL. Lesson learned.

It was an experiment to see how people would react- I'm glad some people liked it.

Thanks all.

great capture. reflects the anticipation of the game finale and the "hope" of the players very well. i also like the granny feel to it, although i wonder if others in DPC challenge will appreciate it. a very rare 10 for me.

I like this shot, even with the graininess, gives it a nostalgic look

Nice composition. The grain workes for me but I could belive that the rating of this image is going to suffer for it.

i presume the grainy effect is on purpose....so i do not think u deserve a low score for that....nice image......

Extremely grainy. Baseball is not well know or followed here so I think your point will be lost on us.

I played baseball as a youth so I understand what you mean. This photo was way too grainy for my likes.

I like this image - I can see the "hope". I think the graininess is a little overdone.

Shouldn't they have rally caps on? If we're to believe they're really hoping for something, I want to see more tension...more anxiety...more leaning on each other for support. It just looks like any normal at bat in any normal game.

While I like your subject and your composition - the entire photo is too grainy or has an overprocessed feel to it.

I have to relate this to soccer to get the equivalent emotion and I`m guessing it`s similar to the agonies of a penalty shootout.
I like the use of B/W and the grain effect....pity it was "basic editing" or you could have cloned the elbow out.
Nicely captured.

I like the shot... I do not know if the grainy texture is intentional, but it adds a positive element to the photo.
