Taken through wet car windscreen
We had traveled from Port Fairy, dawdling along, seeing all the sights and most of the day had been fine, but as we neared Apollo Bay, along the winding, forested, cliff hugging, nowhere-to-stop Great Ocean Road, torrential rain hit us and we could scarcely see the road. It was a relief to get to Apollo Bay and find a motel. A thunderstorm raged all night, still going in the morning, but then it eased off. Just as well, as for the next leg of our trip we had car troubles, but that's another story. |
