| Good color, and the focus on the tip is good, but the centered composition coupled with the very dark area on one side and the very light area on the other is not very effective. Either cropping way in or taking the shot from a bit more to the left or right would really have helped the composition. |

| Hoping to bloom? Aw c'mon. The image has some good qualities, nice exposure and detail in the main subject. Improve it by a) Not centering it so much, b) Getting closer and not having so much oof area. |

| The photo doesn't say hope to me, and it's not very appealing or interesting. |

| I am a fan of a sharp center focus and blurred background; however I think you have too much background here. This would have been better cropped much closer in my opinion |
