    Biography: Born 1969 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Spent most of my younger days growing up in the countryside where I learned to appreciate nature. Studied different things like; Farming, Locksmith, Computers and moved in 1995 to Eindhoven, Netherlands to study Industrial Design. Graduated in 2000. Have been working for a prosthetic company since 1994 (www.ossur.com) that partly sponsored my study in Holland. I worked for Ossur part-time while studying, designing artificial legs and related products. Since I returned to Iceland in 1998, I have been working full-time for this company and am now the R&D Director with 30 employees (25 in Iceland and 5 in California). Since 1995 I have also been working as a part time designer running my own home-studio (www.pedesign.is) designing interiors, sales aids, websites etc. A year ago the founder of Ossur loaned me a camera that he had bought, but thought was to big and heavy. This camera was the all-new Nikon D1X... and that moment my life changed! I worked with the camera for few days and became completely hooked! I have been taking pictures almost non-stop since then, in Reykjavik, in the countryside and abroad when on business-trips for Ossur. I have for example taken pictures for a hotel in Iceland and designed their website (www.hotelglymur.is).
