Biography: Of mixed origin, Iâve enjoyed moving comfortably between different cultures. Travelled extensively as a child, teenager and young woman. Parenthood and responsibilities grounded me for a while. Married and have two beautiful daughters and my adorable Jack Russell.

Live in Melbourne which I really enjoy. Took up photography seriously about 8 years ago. My main interest is people and I mostly work in sepia or b/w.
When I take a photo I try to get whatâs happening behind the face. Go really deep into a person. Having taken a photo of someone you then begin the process of editing it. Sometimes I do it pixel by pixel. The person is revealed to me in such an intimate way. Every wrinkle, pore, blemish, laugh line â¦I see everything. Are their pupils dilated? Or are their eyes cold and distant? I see the strength of their brow, the determination of their chin. The sparkle in their eyes or the sadness in their lips. Some are ready to reveal all...others withdrawn and awkward. Generally over a period of time and many photos, especially when the photos are taken without being posed for, the true character is exposed and you know exactly when that moment is! The connection of your eye, the camera lens and the eye of your model. The connection is so strong that it's an instant link to the person. You know it and they know it. I feel embarrassed, at times, that I have been privy to such disclosureâ¦the human soul laid bare to me. But it's what "lights my fire" and what I'm passionate about and what is vital to me.
Iâm very empathetic and feel otherâs emotions which is sometimes painful and other times joyous.
I enjoy working with my hands and generally make anything and everything. I am a Christian and do a lot of volunteer work with my Church using my creative skills as much as I can.
Hope you enjoy my photos and Iâm really really happy you dropped by.

âThe only things in life you regret,
Are the risks that you didnât take.â
