I have been an artist all my life, always drawing, sketching, and painting. I have been interested in photography ever since I picked up my father’s 35mm Canon A-1. At first I was mainly interested in sports and documentary style photography, then I began experimenting with different amounts of light and shadows in portraits, and I now have experience in wedding photography. I began shooting weddings and family portraits several years ago, when I was still using film. I cannot explain the rush I get from shooting a weddingâ€Â¦I enjoy participating in the bride and groom’s special day and documenting their events so they can be remembered and displayed forever! Digital cameras brought a whole new element to my craft, as I am able to tweak or remove minor imperfections in the shot, have more control over the end result, and can add diverse filters or effects more easily. I continually attend photography courses both in the field and in the classroom. I feel that if I can learn one trick, pose, or technique from an instructor, or try something new and improve my current methods in the field, then the cost of continuing my education is well worth it.
