Drum roll please....
I will say this, I'm boring, dull, and I have no immagination...
... Ok, I lied.
The real me is random, spontaneous and ever changing, constantly learning, ambitious and determined. Sometimes quiet, most times loud, often procrastinating, rarely content... Often trying to be brilliant, yet considered silly, easily amused, yet few things amaze me.
Wanting to be great... Striving to Achieve it.
I'm Ryan. I am 17 years old and from just outside Chicago in the suburbs. I'm relatively new to photography but I'm trying to learn as much as possible and have fun. I play Varsity Hockey for my highschool, as well as Lacrosse. I'm an avid Snowboarder, and have been riding for over 7 years now, I'd like to get more work in using riding as my subject matter.
My ambitions for Photography are somewhat broad, and frankly I have no Idea where they will take me within the subject itself. I use photography as a way to escape my busy lifestyle as well as the sheer enjoyment that I manage to attain from it. If I was ever to classify myself in a specific genre of photography it would have to be Landscape and Architecture. I travel for hours sometimes to to find a decent place to shoot, although I'll admit I'm somewhat limited by my lenses, however, being short on hardware doesn't limit my imagination. My fondness of landscapes comes from the peace of mind it gives me, thankfully. Architeture is another subject which I consider to emphasize slightly, as it provides for endless opertunities with various angles, reflections, and such. Although I like to specilaize I guess you could say in certain areas; my own personal opinion is that my style will continue to change and evolve, ultimately ending in mastering many genres. I would like to get into portraiture and conceptional work, as it seems like an endless abyss of possibilites.
