    Biography: Although a relative newcomer to the art of photography, Fatima Hadi
    wields her camera as though it were an extension of her eye. Her
    photos have an easy, natural flow that sometimes cause the viewer to
    forget that the are looking at a photograph, and not actually at the
    scene.

    Having lived most of her life in the Emirates, Fatima matured along
    with her country, and has seen Dubai transition from a quiet desert
    village to an international center of tourism and commerce. She is
    keenly aware of the ancient cultural traditions that the city was
    built upon. From the tightest macro of an ornamental jewel to
    sweeping landscapes of the Arabian desert, Fatima's unique
    photographs showcase those traditional values reflected within the
    bright, clean, colorful face of the modern Emirates.

    Fatima is an avid world traveler, always seeking out the local
    culture. Wherever she takes her camera, she captures the deeply
    traditional local roots of people existing in our highly globalized
    modern world. Her goal is, through photographs, to bring the world
    closer together by helping us better understand ourselves by better
    understanding others.
