Biography: |
I am an Aerospace Engineer from Melbourne, Australia. I am currently based in Cambridge, UK. I have had a passion of Photography for some time, but seem to have been doing the same or similar thing, photographing just what I like, and often not happy with the results. Spent much of my time with Film, and still love my film SLR (Nikon F80 - not that it gets much use these days) and despertately need to upgrade to a DSLR (when time and finances allow). Spent some time while at Uni doing some photography work, mainly helping out a mate who has his own Photography business, photographing Portraits mainly in a studio set-up.
Was convinced to join dpchallenge and hope that the different topics will encourage me to photograph many different things I normally wouldn't, and improve my skills, and therefore my ability to photograph the things I enjoy.

Photographers do this for a living, every single day -- they point their lenses toward every single corner of our world and somehow make the mundane mesmerizing through their artistic eye. It's all a matter of being aware of your surroundings and realizing that there are some really amazing and interesting things to look at, even if it may just be something so simple as a wall being covered up by paint.
