I'm game. Exams start on the 2nd of November so I might not be able to go all the way, will try to finish though.

Yeah I need to do this. I need to force myself to do macros because I love them but don't take the time for some reason. This will be incentive.

You should, as I have just finished visiting your portfolio, and made quite a few comments, plus adding you as a favorite, as you have some amazing macros.....

no kidding. you have some great stuff. I would love to see more stuff from you.

Thanks to both of you - now I definately will participate (even though the outdoors macro season, which I enjoy the most, is almost over - but I guess I'll just have to be a little creative)

I am sure you can be "creative" as that camera of yours, doesn't lie..... You have some of the best macros I have ever seen.....

One question:

What will the rules be - Basic Editing or Advanced Editing...?

Or something else maybe?

there are no rules. do whatever you want. I will be doing some digital art type stuff because I like it and some basic editing as well.

Count me in! I would love to do this! I just got a new macro lens and need to work it. I love doing macros... but Im really bad at keeping up with it everyday, but I'll try my hardest!

This is the first of these daily challenges that has intrigued me personally. I may give this one a whirl :-)

no need to join anything. just start posting one macro per day starting the 12th. edit them however you like. there are no hard rules and nobody will get bent out of shape if you miss a day or two.

Oh this sounds exciting. I am trying to get back into taking more shot, lately I have been a slacker and this sounds prefect! I can't wait!

If anyone thinks they "have to" have a macro lens, these were taken with the (as some call it) el-cheapo 18-55mm kit lens and a +3 close-up adaptor. Grasshopper pics were taken with the camera's built-in flash:

I did these with my P&S, and while they definitelyaren't as stunning as the ones above, I think they're at least decent.

So, like the original post says, there's no reason why people should feel too limited by equipment. :-)

I want to participate - I think I won't be doing all 30 days but if work and things permit, I'd love to do at least some.
