I don't understand why people always say "First night voters suck"?? Ya gotta vote sometime. Do you anticipate that the same person would vote higher/better on the second night?

Yes, I do. I really do - are they tired? Are they peed off at their results...who knows, but experience shows me that they are hard voters.

Well, I'm not saying you're wrong. I probably vote differently, anyway. I do about 10-20 per night so I don't get burnt out on the entries. I've already done mine. One 4, one 5, and several 6-8's. Of course, after the 4 and 5, I waded through some of the ones that looked more interesting.

Ok I am disabling my update button... I too went out of the box ... 'cause I figured most would stay in... should have found a old crate and shot that at sunset with a flower and a kitten sitting on it ... It would have scored better :)

Unbelievable! My score dropped from 4.9 with 11 votes to 4.2 with 12 votes. What the hell is going on?

I understand if my photo is not wooden nor if wood is not major compositional element but it is and I don't understand. Just a little frustrated I guess because I thought this was a good photo.

I'm glad there aren't a lot of woodie entries. I get sick of seeing 30 varieties fo the same idea. HOWEVER, I have to say there was one woodie photo that was REALLY well done. I'm not going to say which one, obviously, but I gotta give props to the originator of that interesting idea.
