After 82 votes and 20 hours before rollover this is one of my highest rated images on DPC: I decided to submit this one instead of another image a few hours before the deadline.

I was there to shoot a videoclip for a famous Italian company. Unfortunately they changed their mind about the advertisement campaign so the video didn't reach television and Internet. Still sad about that.

ETA: This is not Dennis', but since since he's one my best DPC friends I am happy to have my name besides his ;)

Congratulations Alessandro! This caught my eye immediately! The eye catching water swirls add a whole separate element to the image. And, I couldn't have done better myself :)

Alex, next time you come to the Isle of Skye you have to pop in and have a wee dram. And tell me how you manage to get this image the way you did. I see this place every day but can't remember seeing it as beautiful as this. Stunning image. Congrats on the Blue!

Has Dennis written all over it, maybe :)

Gorgeous in every way, has a bit of everything in it, mountains, waterfall, still waters and a dynamic sunset. Sharp, beautifully presented in all ways. Overall top stuff, and my top pick!

BTW I looked up Elysian Fields, and it comes up on google as a mythological place, so I'm looking forward to seeing where this is.

Somebody should call the Sierra Club, alert them to all the wonderful photos in this challenge. It's truly amazing. What a beautiful planet we have to live on. Thanks for posting this shot
