Fantastic presence in this photograph. Most of us only see animals in zoos, but this is as good a capture of natural looking magnificence as I have seen in a while. Excellent light, composition and detail. Love it and faved.

This image was shot with a couple fellow DPC'ers (DI 53 and rmtm33)at the Toronto zoo.It was a great day ,and this image finishing as well as did makes the Toronto GTG a day I will not soon forget.

This was one of my very favorites. Should have ribboned for sure. I will be ordering this as a print.

Excellent! I love the textures in the stone in constrast to his flowing fur. Great job! I love the composition, use of lines, colors, exposure, and contrast =) definately a 10.

And it shows! The lion is in a perfect spot in this image but the stone sadly looks artificially burned, great photograph nevertheless and would suit any magazine page proudly (although the resolution because of the stone is poor)

Normally a background that is obviously part of a zoo would be offputting. But here it provides a terrific contrast between the texture of the wall and the lions coat. Beautiful image.
