I have added this to my favourites for 2 reasons, firstly the photo is very good and deserves all of the rich comments but this alas says to me that to capture such a beautiful animal in a 'non' natural pose is testament to the world in taking away their natural habitait.I am glad there are people in the world taking pictires to remind us of this.

I thought this was a great shot, I think it deserved higher. I gave you a 9. I so like the expression.

Yes a good title for this one would have been "Let my people go...!!!"

When hunting for the perfect subject to photograph, its very rare to find anything close to this without adding props. Just a great image. Texture in staff and blankey is great, lighting effects are also near perfect. If I was to get picky I'd like to see that tiny bit of green in upper right corner turn white like the rest of background. This deserves to be in top three In my opinion this is a 10

Very funny scene. The composition could be improved IMO if the orangutan were shifted more towards the bottom right corner, and I can't BELIEVE you didn't play up the situation with a clever title. Still one of the better entries in this challenge.

Use the Force, Luke.

Excellent study, though I's like to see more of what he's holding in his hand. (Or she).

Gandalf returns! Actually, I find this incredibly amusing. And well taken. Tone, POV, DOF, focus all well done. 8 - good luck in the challenge!

Great expression. Super lighting. Great composition.

We wonder what became of the background behind the subject (is it some kind of large, reflective surface?), but cannot regret that it is gone. We only wonder why the same force was not at work on the other side of the telephone pole.

Looks like a Wise Man with cloak and staff. I like the studious expression. Nice catch.

This shot has a LOT of character. Nice capture. The blown highlights and harsh lighting are a distraction though. You lose a lot of definition and color due to that. Otherwise, I think it's great.

In my book, this is the winner. Perfect color and capture. A bit bright in the brights, a wee bit out of focus. But nothing is ever perfect. I love it.

Since I am lacking in technical skills, I cannot give helpful comments. I am strictly a photo buff who is trying to improve, but as to telling you what is wrong or right, I am in no position to say. I am simply voting based on whether I like the picture or not. Sorry, maybe someday I will be able to give helpful advice

I can't seem to take my eyes off this one. There's something about it that makes one stop...and really look. Well-captured. Am sure it will do very well! Good luck!
