I sent out a call for a baby model last weekend, and I got a huge response from several interested mommies. This one, in my opinion, fit the challenge the best. But I have an entire gallery of beautiful outtakes from my Peek-a-Boo "Flower Pot Babies"... and a couple of puppies too!

Post Challenge: Thank you for so many great comments!
Here are my outtakes! Some of you commented about wanting to see at least ONE eye...and well, here it is!

I just didn't think it was as "out of the box" interesting as the one I submitted.

They are all absolutely beautiful photos, though!

Thank you to Bailey and Aly for posing!

Careful, Sandy! That's almost blasphemy! She's like a god to me! (not really...but you know what I mean!) She's truly been my inspiration since the beginning of time....hee hee.

This is goregous. The colors of the flowers draw you in and then you are met with sweet surprise in the form of chubby lil cheeks. Great Photo! Why can't I vote?

Great capture. Love the colors and the composition. Only thing that would be an improvement, IMO, is seing an eye. 9

This is nicely done, and takes a second or two to sink in--I like that!

Very soft and delicate look. the grey makes the baby rather creepy though!

cute photo and I love he selctive desaturation. I d feel this might have had more impact if you could see more of her eye.

It would've been nice to see half an eye, I think. Beautiful shot.

Too busy picture in my opinion. Very good concept, nice selective desaturation. Personally I would have avoided the flower and branch from the bottom left side

Very interesting shot. Great detail on the flowers and a nice 3D feel to it.

Wow this is different. Love the contrast with the white BG and the colorful flowers also the border is very nice.

Good use of selective desaturation. perhaps having one eye of the child visible may have drawn the viewer more towards the baby.

Needs more of that eye.

I think this is fabulous! One of the few times that white images on a white background isn't flat and boring.

Would have liked to see his/her eye more fully, otherwise very cool shot.
