Great crop. The eyes are so intense, and the eye pattern is echoed by the ears which I think reinforces the presence of the eyes...and they are both at perfect thirds as well. Cropping the snout was an inspired decision. There is just enough of the shoulders showing to indicate the wolf is in an aggressive position too. This photo actually scares the crap out of me.

| Wow, look at the details on the eyes and the fur! I am sure many may say that the shot should include the muzzle for the image to be better. I think your crop is spot on - because the first thing I notice is the eyes. Those eyes are staring me down and I get the feeling that I am being hunted. The feeling of being in imminent danger is palpable as I stare into the eyes of the hunter. |
