Find your wave...by tonodzComment by kaiser_chief: An inteeresting subject, but I don't think the overall capture does it justice. The image appears to be soft. The pier leads to the edge of the photo, neither negative space or a subject. The lines lead me to this space in the border.........
Even the wave in the image is a minor element, and yet this is what you highlighted in your title. A stronger connection between the photo and the motivational message you are trying to put forward was really needed. |

Idea/creativity: 5
Quality of the photo: 8
Artistic viewpoint: 5
Frame/borders: 9
Appealence of the font: 6
Average: 6.6 (7) |

jammin' in the middle of nowhereby tonodzComment by Teafran: While the author's intent is clear, the over use of space to create some sense of dimension compared to the subject falls just short of being truly effective. The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured carries some visual impact. Technically, it's a very well composed image which is a plus. From an artistic standpoint, it lacks impact. A worthy entry into the challenge just lacking that something special to make it stand out. |
