Good job! | Photographer found comment helpful. |

As in all creative writing, be suspicious of adjectives, particularly when they come all too easy. A simple generic name would be better, or you could, of course, be creative and call it "Thinking of You', 'Prayer' or 'Intimate Encounter at 5 am". ;-) | Photographer found comment helpful. |

Reasons for not being higher are;
the blooms cut across the middle and don't lead anywhere
the rear petals are out of focus because of the shallow DOF
reasons for the 6 or 7;
nice shallow DOF
sharp focus
good contrast of colours
well done
keep shooting

By choosing to focus on so many blooms, however, you seem to have lost the sharpness of the flowers, which are (collectively) your subject. IMO, it would be improved if you had got in even closer and focused on just one blossom. In that way, you'd avoid the soft focus on the petals toward the back of the picture. Certainly a nice picture, but that is an area where I think it could be improved. HTH. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

I think if you are shooting a common subject, the photo has to be striking to make it work i.e. dramatic lighting or an unusual angle. Good luck. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
