NET VERSION.jpgby TroyMosleyComment by rex: Pretty good is an understatment. I really like this shot. Night shots are hard to capture and you have done a great job doing it. The blue in the sky is perfect IMO. |

Light-Water-016.jpgby TroyMosleyComment by jpochard: This is a cool shot. I like that the focus is on the glass. The colors are great and I agree that the repeating reflection in the stem adds a lot to the shot. Well done! The only improvement I would make is to have the background neon light straight - as it appears slightly crooked. |

Imaginationby TroyMosleyComment by SJCarter: I must admit I scored this too low during the challenge - I gave it a 4. Upon further reflection, I really like the composition and see more of what you were going for (I think). The interrupted zoom focus is an interesting choice to emphasize the subject matter and pattern. Still, I would have liked to see it with a brighter background - I think the hard dark gray is a distraction from the soft pastels of the shells. Today, I'd give it a 6. :-) |

Alaska-005.jpgby TroyMosleyComment by SJCarter: I really like the tall composition with the needle to the left - not a common crop. It would be nice if you could eke some more detail out of the sky/clouds (selective burning/dodging, contrast?). Nice capture. |

Evening at the beachby TroyMosleyComment by SJCarter: Ya know, I think the sky seems more blown out with the white border than it would with a dark one. With a dark one you could pump up the color sat and I think it would work. Anyway, I like the silky water and the crop. Nice composition. |

NET VERSION.jpgby TroyMosleyComment by jorr: Another well done from me!! Couple small comments though, for specific photo comments as this one is, I know I (and many others) like to see the photo details, length of exposure, iso setting, f stop, time of day/night, etc etc. Makes making suggestions a little easier.
As to your question concerning the power poles, I HONESTLY did not even notice them until you asked about them (talking about your larger pic), so is up to you, think you could clone them out all right, just do not know if you should bother!
P S, know you have not had much time yet, but PLEASE mark comments helpful after you asked for them - unless you do have a problem with one or more, of course!! Message edited by author 2006-04-17 13:35:55. |

NET VERSION.jpgby TroyMosleyComment by samanwar: Wow, the colors are simply amazing, the trailing red lights with the dark blue sky works very well, the only thing I am not sure about is the gray color of the clouds. |
