Floraby bcncrazyComment by KarenB: this has the potential to be a great photograph. the clouds, dandelion, blue sky.. all great.. nice composition. the only thing I am picking on is the quality .. there is quite a bit of dithering/noise in all the colors, so I wonder if it was dark, and then you tried to over brighten it/use levels? |

White balance is not white on the flower and there is a bunch of grain. Personally the grain is not a bother as much as the color. The composition is good. Try this one again if you get the chance. |

Floraby bcncrazyComment by CLarson557: I really liked your idea here. The composition is great! Just maybe could have used better lighting or just a little bit of post-processing would have helped. I couldn't quite put my finger on it by just looking at it, so I took your picture and messed with it a little. As it turns out, there was a yellow hue to it that dulled everything. Once that was taken out, the clouds whitened, the dandilion stood out better and the sky brightened into a nice deep blue. I'll keep it for you in case you would like to see what I did. You have a good eye for nice composition...keep up the good work. |
