Domino Spotsby dallasduxComment by levyj413: Hooray for your top score, smashing the old one! And beating 79% of the competition, to boot. This was a solid 6 shot! |

Domino Spotsby dallasduxComment by nickels55: Others used this concept but with more flair. Check out some of the other entries in this challenge to see what I mean. This is a great shot but there is a lack of a theme or something that makes it original. |

Who's The Handsome Duck Below?by dallasduxComment by Ann: I saw your post in the Challenge Results forum, about not getting comments on this entry. I think most of the comments go to pictures that stand out in some way, usually either good or bad. This one is neither, it fits somewhere in the middle (I gave you a 5). It's a nice shot of a duck, nicely composed, nice colors, good detail. But...you got it right yourself, the reflection isn't very strong, the rock is sticking out of its head, and it looks like there is some camera shake. I know if I were shooting handheld at 1/60 with the lens zoomed out to 200, I would never get a shot that didn't have some shake in it.
Hope that helps. |
