Outstanding focus and detail. However, the light and colors are flat. For wildlife images, it's usually best to show a more dynamic eye-catch glint.

Different perspective makes this more interesting to me than a lot of raptor headshots. I particularly like the sweep of the neck feathers. Nit: I tihnk I'd fix the green reflection on the underside of his jaw and top of his neck.

I'm not a member so I can't vote on member challenges. Instead, I look through the entries for images that make me stop clicking on to the next one. This is one of those images....

Wow. This is the kind of photo that makes me want to learn more and more about this craft/art. I'll be back after voting to see the photo specifics. It's so sharp without appearing over sharpened, so vibrant without appearing overly saturated. Kudos on a great image. Hope it does well.
