Unsung Heroby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: Very cute series! The first shot is the funniest, but a bit over-exposed , #2 is better, but a tiny bit over, #3 is perfect and darn funny, too. The script is classic and fittingly silly. Good focus! 7 Rob the Swash |

Compromiseby draney4Comment: Really cute series and it tells a story, too. The bird bath scene is distinguishable, but can't really see the bird (it's the brown spot, right?). Cat Food scene is so very cute and the cleanup, just too cat-like. All three scenes are sharp, but so small the detail is difficult to see. I try to stay away from frame comments, but I'm sorry, this color isn't really pleasant (no score affect). 7 Rob the Swash |

Periplaneta brunneaby SimmsComment: It's a bug! I know you didn't have a lot of lighting control, but the issues around this photo are mostly lighting related. The head is too shadowed, the rear is overly glarish. Clarity is good, where the lighting allows it. 6 Rob the Swash |

faith in chaosby stephanComment: Interesting use of (I think) inverse black and white. The ant shows up very well, but some of the detail seems to be lost. (Calling this Albino Ant might have confused some of these issues for the better) 6 Rob the Swash |

Morning Swanby sselmanComment: Pretty scene. I like what the dual tone did to the body of the foremost swan, nice subtle coloration, but the shadows remove a great deal of the detail that I would have liked to have seen. Pretty sharp, but still hard to see. 6 Rob the Swash |

Bathroom Duckby JPRComment: Sharp image! Good detail. Personally, I don't care for the coloration used. Female mallards have lovely, subtlely colored feathers. 6 Rob the Swash |

Duckling and Momby shadowComment: Very clear shot. Nice amount of detail (maybe too much detail ;) The flash was needed, I'm sure, but casts that unnatural shadow. The ducks seem oily/dirty, true to what you saw, but less appealing. I think I may have hard on the photo due to the subject, score upgrade from 6 to 7. Rob the Swash |

Photo-Evolutionby AnachroniteComment: Oh, I see the ant! I like this. Butterflies are very difficult to satisfy "the masses". The big ones are easier to get a shot of, but offer a surprisingly large photo surface. The tail section being totally out of focus is going to "bug" some (it's not that easy!!). This looks like my Morphio jelendian, but smaller. I like the negative view. The b&w view seems non-descript. The color view seems a bit muted.
Still, all that said, I like this series and gave it a 9 before I knew who did it. Rob the Swash |

Spotby PedroComment: I'm sure the upper half glared out was on purpose, but honestly, I don't like it. I kinda feel it adds to the "artsy"-ness, but not as a photo (does that make sense).

Owlby jdw91479Comment: Very clear photo of a decoy owl. (Cropped the base - did it look even less natural?) A bit of a flash shadow, might want to watch that. 6 Rob the Swash |
