Simply Tacksby Rachel34Comment: The cluster of tacks in the lower left corner draws my attention away from the main group. I'd like to see these either moved farther from the center of the frame or given better focus. The DOF is a bit shallow and the few specks among the tacks are distracting in such a minimalistic picture.

Tackaflectionsby joyinlightComment: I find the double reflection a bit distracting. It might be nice if the sharpest part of the tack had the sharpest focus. |

Qby BooZonComment: This looks a bit underexposed, but that may be a problem with the uncalibrated monitor that I'm viewing it on. |

"O"by elsapoComment: Interesting composition. I would have liked it a bit better if the halo around the orange had been a bit more even. The B&W highlights the veins and visual texture which would been less prominent if done in color. I'd be interested in seeing the color version of this though. |

Built in Signs of Loveby heroofhteday2441Comment: But for the title I'd interpret this as the juvenile hand gesture for "loser". The DOF is good, but either the lights shining on the model (you?) should be re-aimed or she should be standing farther from the wall to cut down on the sharp-edged shadows behind her. |

victory bugby riderComment: The focus is very soft and made worse by the jpeg artifacts. The latter can be corrected by changing the compression settings on your camera to low/fine. Since this is obviously a macro shot the soft focus might be the result of not being in macro mode or being too close for the camera to focus. |

rby bruskiComment: This would have been more interesting if rotated 180 degrees. Good use of color. |
